| Cogwheel locomotive HGe 4/4 I # 36 (built 1949 for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn) of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGBahn) is pulling the "Swiss Alps Classic Express" (SACE) of Bahnurlaub.de over the 96 meter long Grengiols viaduct. The train ran this day from Zermatt via Visp-Brig-Oberwald-Gletsch-Furka-Realp-Andermatt-Disentis-Chur-Thusis to St.Moritz. The HGe 4/4 I pulled the train from Zermatt to Oberwald and from Realp to Disentis. The cars are first class A # 4162 and # 4167 and second class B # 4269 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke, all former Brig-Visp-Zermatt from 1961/1963, and open observation car B # 2226 of the MGBahn. |
