The World's Fair Daylight stretches her legs as she speeds southward (railroad east) down California's breadbasket, the San Joaquin Valley. The Lima-built 4-8-4 was constructed for the Southern Pacific's famed Daylight trains, and is now owned by the city of Portland, Oregon. (Fowler, California – May 12, 1984)
