| H02 heading west to Washington passing through Netcong, NJ. NS 5655 (GP38-2) is trailing. The leader was originally built for Conrail as CR 3377 and the trailing unit was originally built for the Lehigh Valley Railroad as LV 310 (GP38AC) before going to Conrail as CR 7656, and then to Norfolk Southern as NS 2881. NS rebuilt it to GP38-2 standard in the mid-2000s as seen here. |
