| NS 18G heads east on the Conrail Lehigh Line with newer power: a pair of SD70M-2 locomotives. NS 2730 is trailing. By late 2020, the leader was placed into long-term storage, only to be reactivated in mid-2023. The trailing unit was retired by Norfolk Southern and sold to Progress Rail in March of 2021. |
