| Quincy Railroad's Susanville division's #12 is delivering loaded centerbeams to Wendel, CA and the UP interchange. This is on the SP's Modoc line, by now truncated. Only a few weeks remain for the railroad as the Sierra Pacific mill in Susanville has closed and the former SP line from Wendel to Susanville will be removed. The tower in the background is a remnant from SP steam days and marks the location of their engine facilities in Wendel. |
