| Once a division point on the Carson and Colorado Railroad, by 1984 it was the end of track. In August of 1984, #4371 sits next to the Mina Depot waiting for a crew to take it back North to Sparks. By the end of 1985, SP had closed the line South of Thorne and pulled up the rails and not long after the old wooden depot burned down. |
