| The DPUs on this heavy westbound manifest lean into a curve just east of Ludlow as the quickly fading sunlight catches the side of the train before disappearing for the night. The Needles Sub offers many unique shot opportunities at sunrise and sunset with the sparse desert backed by mountain landscapes such as this one. |
