Remarks & Notes

In June of 1967, DRGW #487 as helper and #483 as road engine, have just taken coal at the tipple located at Monero, several miles West of Chama. By the end of the following year, this section of railroad would be removed with the abandonment of the narrow gauge line over Cumbres Pass by the Rio Grande.
