| Diesel Tilt Train Power Car DTD 5403/5401 and City of Townsville consist have been repaired following the Tilt Train derailment in November 2004. Here, the train (without Car B) crawls out of Isis Junction for brake and traction testing further north between Elliott and Kinkuna. This Locomotive came to grief again in November 2008 when it hit a truck at a Level Crossing near Cardwell. Sadly, the two drivers were fatally injured in the collision. |
