| The weekend of 7-8 July saw several events commemorating the end of steam on the Southern Region of British Railways 40 years ago, and Bulleid Pacifics were out in force on both preserved and main lines. Here Merchant Navy class 35005, running as 35008 'Orient Line' but without nameplates, 1967-style, leaves Ropley on the Mid Hants Railway. |
