| BNSF stacks race across the desert between Barstow and Victorville. How railroad is this part of the country? Both towns were named for ATSF employees. BNSF 773 is one of an order of 100 Dash 9s from June-Sept 1997 that were delivered in ATSF war-bonnet with BNSF markings. At the time, there was a little hope that this would become the BNSF scheme, but sadly, it didn't. |
