| Smoking up a storm, a D&H Alco RS36 pulls two of her younger siblings (two C628s) out of the Colonie Shops, aka Alco Heaven. Back in the late 1970s railfans were welcome at the Colonie Shops and as long as you checked in and paid the dollar fee, you could walk over the grounds freely. 5015 was delivered to the D&H on January of 1963. It is seen her wearing the short-lived Altshul Blue scheme. Also in the shot is rebuilt RS3 (TE56-4a #505 and C628 #610). |
