| DMIR 406 (rebuilt ex-SP SD45T-2 6768/SP 9501/SP 9171) leads taconite pellet loads from the UTAC pellet plant at Fairlane, MN bound for Proctor and Duluth docks. DMIR 406 is one of the most recent repaints in CN colors - painted in 4/07, and has very small DMIR sublettering under the 406 cab numbers. It was 88 degrees but steam was still rising from the hot taconite pellets.
