Down to 7mph due to power problems, this coal train is having problems climbing the 12 mile grade of .40% out of the Mississippi River Valley between Gladstone, IL to Kirkwood, IL. In 4 miles this load would have traction motor problems on the 9518 causing the train to stall at Kirkwood, IL.
