| The final member of the 1,340 strong 141R class of 2-8-2s, oil-fired No 141R1340, built by the Canadian Locomotive Works at Kingston, departs from Angers with the 11.55 local to Le Mans. This train should have been a short diesel railcar set but was loco hauled as lucky for me motor racing was on a Le Mans. |
