Five miles to Trenton! When the old PRR Bel-Del Branch, linking Trenton and Phillipsburg was removed by Conrail, many artifacts were left behind. The New Jersey State Park Service now owns the old ROW and has created a walking trail along its length, which is the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park. One can see many of these artifacts while walking on the trail, such as this old mile marker just below the former Reading Railroad bridge in Ewing. Unlike the other things left behind, this one still has some use for bikers and joggers on the path.
