By late 1976, the former SP FP7's now in Amtrak service had dwindled to two units, #376 and #377.
Originally SP 6453 and 6454, they became Amtrak 116 and 117 and later #492 and #493. With the San Joaguin in tow, they are passing the former Western terminal of SP's car ferry from Benecia to Port Costa as evidenced by the pilings in the water.
