Looking like it belongs in a village under a Christmas tree, the former Central Railroad of New Jersey's Califon Station basks in the sunlight after a snowstorm the night before. This stone structure is the only surviving station on the High Bridge Branch, which was abandoned by Conrail in 1976. The Right of Way has been restored as the Columbia Rail-Trail while the station currently houses the township's Historical Society.
