| A brace of North Shore steeple cabs gets ready for a days work while a CNW pushpull flies by headed for Chicago. This is Pettibone yard just north of the Great Lakes stop on the Skokie Valley line. In looking up some info about this picture, one of the interesting things I found in a 1959 Equipment Register is the formal reporting marks on North Shore interchange equipment were "CNS&MRy"; I had never seen the "Ry" used in marks before seeing that. |
