| Westbound stacks head over the San Gabriel River, with the snow capped San Gabriel Mountains in the background. This river begins up in those mountains behind it. We are on the old Southern Pacific Sunset Route, now Union Pacific's Alhambra Sub. ES44AC #5503 was delivered 06/05. It is paired with SD70M #4590 (04/01) and Dash 8-40C #9276 (12/88). Okay, who else can't believe Dash 8s are now getting old? |
