Remarks & Notes

After a frantic repositioning of the tripod, the Brownwood to Pearland limestone train is caught unexpectedly taking the siding at Landes at 1220. The impossibly awesome lashup is SD45-2 6488 SD45-2 6488 (Fourth 45-2 delivered to AT&SF; ex-ATSF 5838, nee-5628, built May '72); SD45-2 6473 (ex-ATSF 5823, 7223; nee-5695; built May '73); SD40-2 6909 (ex-BN 6902, nee-6366; built March '73); SD40-2 6957 (ex-ATSF 5212, built October '78); and SD45-2 6501 (ex-ATSF 5851, nee-5639; built May '72).
