One of my favorites from last years DINA trip. Looking something like a robotic caterpillar, UP 8260, along with 3 other SD90-43macs, pulls this Q-ETT4 Potash train up the grade from the Columbia River (Lake Wallula). The train features a pair of mid train DPU's, just out of sight around the curve. Note the river and gorge reflection on the cars.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
