| An hour before sunset, a pair of unusually clean tunnel motors powers a short westbound manifest on light rail and cinder ballast on the remote Modoc Line. Rattlesnake Butte looms ominously in the background, while the train rocks and rolls along at 40mph, scaring the rattlesnakes that were no doubt near the photographer. |
