| This is the view looking up through the floor of a former DL&W tower in Alford, PA. Some of the strongarm levers are intacked but the rods and the rest of the machinery are long gone. Unfortunately the staircase is also gone and I didn't have my extension ladder with me (LOL). The tower structure is in great shape with a few roof repairs needed. The former Alford station about 100 yards away is in alot worse shape. |
