| On a very dreary day, with a storm moments away, a Belgian National Railways Series 62 diesel sits among the multiple tracks in the Bruges station. This was a Series 212 when delivered in 1966 (the third order following the prototypes of these GM engined units). Called Series 62s since the 1971 renumbering, these locomotives are intended for duty on secondary lines, where they haul both passengers and freight. |
