Remarks & Notes

Two of the classic brown Re 4/4 (or Re 425) of the BLS with a intermodal train on the southern ascent to the L?tschberg tunnel, near Lalden. The BLS has 35 of this powerful (6770 HP) and handsome locomotives, built between 1964 and 1983. Most are used today in freight service.
