| The swiss rail network is electrified to 99.9 %, so diesel locomotives are used mostly for shunting only. The short distance freight train from Thalheim to Winterthur was one of the exceptions, the 1961 built sixaxle diesel electric Bm 6/6 18511 in the classic redbrown paint scheme is in front of the train. |
