Remarks & Notes

On a brilliant Summer Solstice afternoon in 2006, Union Pacific SD40-2 #3328 is showing it's age. As a 1976 graduate of EMD, it was built with 80 mph gearing as UP 8058. By Sept. 1981, the unit was regeared making it just another SD40-2 among UP's fleet of 685 units.
