Remarks & Notes

This Wakefield (NOT Glasgow as I mistakenly posted earlier) allocated 'B1' must have had a recent overhaul because I saw it at Mirfield in March 1966 and it was dirty beyond belief. Its relatively smart appearance on this occasion put the universally filthy Normanton allocation to shame. By 26th February 1967 it had gravitated back the six or so miles to Wakefield MPD.
