| Looking down from the C Street overpass as an ARR switch engine shoves a cut of cars north up the South Main and into the yard. The military are on a "flat deck" container platform and are shipped up by Northland Services to Whittier where the ARR hauls them to the Nortland intermodal track in Anchorage for offloading. The south end of the ARR yard is a modelers delight with multiple leads, diamonds, and a wye track all intersecting. |
