| The sun was just beginning to weakly filter through early morning fog in the Worth Valley. In an almost surreal scene, Great Western Railway 'City' class 4-4-0 'City of Truro' looms ethereally out of the mist with a short freight train. In 1904 she was reputedly the first object on the planet (other than a projectile) to travel more than 100 miles per hour. |
