On the first Sunday of every month, Travel Town used to run this caboose train under the auspices of the Crystal Springs & Cahuenga Valley, making for a Brigadoon like railroad, and bringing the sounds of an EMD burble, air horns, and crossing gate bells to usually quiet Travel Town. Here we see the little Model 40 pulling SP caboose C-40-4 #4049 and ATSF way car Ce-1 999110 over about a 130 yard stretch of track. Today, the two cabooses have been relocated to Fullerton, CA and the caboose rides are no more.
