| On the delightfully named Changa Manga Forestry Railway, a train of freshly cut wood arrives from the forest for unloading. The diminutive narrow gauge 0-6-0 at the head was built in 1936 by John Fowler, one of several Leeds-based locomotive builders whose products were shipped to all corners of the British Empire. As for the forest, that was planted in the 1860s to provide fuel for main line steam locos! |
