Mt. Washington has a (well-deserved) reputation for changeable weather. Here, during a brief respite from the clouds and fog, we see Locomotive #8 "Moosilauke", with its red coach on the Homestretch Flats, about 5 minutes from the summit. Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Sam Adams are in the immediate background....as well as the low cloud ceiling that threatens to re-envelop the area and make photography impossible.
