| A rare move over what's left of the Soo's Brooten Line, which was a 181-mile shortcut for Dakota grain destined for Duluth/Superior. The line was abandoned and torn up in the 1980s; only a short two-mile segment exists today, which is used for storage purposes. Here CP 8561 has sixteen cars in tow for a movie project being filmed by the West End Safety & Health Committee. |
