| Probably one of the neatest places to railfan on the former C&O is the old town of Thurmond. There are so many different props and angles to choose from. Especially these group of buildings in downtown. On top of that you still have the old coal dock and the restored passenger depot. If you are lucky you may be able to catch an RJC coal train going up or coming off of the former C&O Loup Creek Branch. Could this photo be considered street running? |
