| While under lease to the Pennsy, the RR ran em like railfans run rental cars. If you'll excuse the metaphor, burning soft coal and running them hard while performing only minimal maintenence took a toll on these 10-year old super-steamers, all were razorblades by the end of '57 excepting #2128. |
