    Remarks & Notes
Car 631 was built by New York's Third Avenue Railway System in 1939 and served the Big Apple until after World War II. Then, under the Marshall Plan, she was sent to Austria, where she served in the streets of Vienna until 1980. Repatriated and restored by the Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine, she now offers tourists a taste early mass transit. Here, she departs Arundel Station on a late afternoon special for museum staff.
