For years, an Alco switcher, modified for remote control operation, sat alongside CSX's Rockhouse Sub in Letcher County, KY at the idle Enterprise loadout at Democrat. Now it is but a memory as it was scrapped on site as part of the reclaiming of the loadout. The engine was in running order when the loadout shut down, but was doomed to this fate when copper thieves gutted the engine of all of it's wiring. The cab on the old engine waits to be loaded and hauled away.
