| The day of the 'Fifteen Guinea Special' recreation was characterised by brilliant sunshine interspersed with (as here) heavy, threatening rainclouds. Having taken water at Hellifield, 'Oliver Cromwell' gets into its stride at Long Preston. The Pacific is positively charging towards Settle Junction with a very stiff cross wind whipping the exhaust in all directions. A fine sight indeed! |
