| One of the more intriguing locations on the former D&RGW is the 1913 Detour line change featuring a 9 degree horseshoe curve above Gilluly. Here a 105 car, 9500 ton Salt Lake-Denver manifest ascends the 2% grade with the head end and mid-train helpers side by side through the horseshoe. |
