| Amidst the thistle down and rosebay willowherb at Haworth, this is my first worthwhile image of the KWVR's wonderful re-creation of a 'lost' locomotive. This is one of the rugged War Department 'Austerity' freight 2-8-0's. She is the magnificent result of untold man-hours to convert a (much modified) Swedish example back to British profile. We are indeed blessed to witness the fruit of such dedication. |
