Steam returned to what’s left of the Tennessee Alabama & Georgia (TAG) route in north Georgia for the first time in many years as TVRM ran a special train destined for the 145th anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga festival in Kensington, GA. Owned by NS and leased to the CCKY, the 20-mile-long line faces an uncertain future in the wake of the closure of its only customer, a chemical plant in Kensington. The TAG once ran all the way from Chattanooga, TN to Gadsden, AL.
