| A standard length SP freight is heading around the colossal Tehachapi Loop. Middle of train is in the upper part of photo. Rear of train is in tunnel 9 in center of photo hidden by cut. Unbelievable as it seems, this freight train is running over itself. This loop is one of the engineering marvels of the 20th century.
