| The Northern Railway Bridge of Budapest is currently under a full reconstruction. There are only some small elements, the sidewalk and the cycle track are left. These two M44 type switchers (The second is on the other end of the train) arrived with 13 loaded gondolas to do the load test of the bridge. The GM-EMD Nohab on the right side of the picture, was worked on the bridge previous day. This picture is taken some minutes before the test at the station before the bridge. Picture ID #260289 shows the testing. |
