| With Track 1 through the New Portage Tunnel out of service for a couple of hours, we knew that eastbounds would be routed up the steeper Track 2 grade to the Allegheny Tunnel. A long stack train of mostly J.B. Hunt and EMP trailers (symbol help appreciated) slowly cuts through downtown Gallitzin, under the Jackson Street bridge and approaches the west portal of the Allegheny Tunnel. Note the large shadow of a house on the tracks in front of the 9581. |
