I went to Lockport to catch 90230, and missed it by a half a minute. The gates went up as soon as I got to the crossing. In the process of going to Lockport I missed an SD60M on the Chicago sub. Then this train makes its way through. I never expected to see it seeing how it left UD two hours before it got to this point... Literally seconds after this train passed I got the sad news that the STB approved the purchase of the EJ&E. So, I went to Joliet where I expected to see something EJ&E related but the yard was empty. In the process of doing that, I missed GALGYI, CNIKCK, AMTK 302, and an SD60M on the Chillicothe. In total, there were about 4 trains in an hour on the CN Joliet sub, which is insanely rare.
