A pair of BNSF coal hauling EMD's find themselves parked in Utah Railway's Provo yard. Having been temporarily pulled from coal train duties, the exotic (for Utah) green and cream pair will assist in propelling the next Stockton-Denver manifest east across the former D&RGW. Rugged Slate Canyon Peak, a fixture of railroad photography around the Provo area for decades, looms large and beautiful on Presidents Day of 2009.
