| On the first day of March 2009, an eastbound BNSF grain train descends Evaro Hill on Montana Rail Link's 10th Sub. Just a few short weeks ago a derailment on MRLs 4th west of Missoula forced trains to take this route with a westbound grade of 2.2%. For two days the sounds of mid train and rear helpers could be heard across the open plains as they shoved tonage up and over Evaro. |
