Remarks & Notes

The Overbrook line once featured large sections of single track. Here a PCC races through a crumbling crossing along Denise St at Hawridge Way in Overbrook. Hard to believe this is just a couple of miles from downtown Pittsburgh!

Pittsburgh no longer has commuter trains and Johnstown no longer has trolleys, but light rail remains strong in Pittsburgh. Mr. Rogers would be pleased.
